Early 2020, Vpod and MapsPeople partnered up to achieve a common goal: enhancing visitor experience. By integrating MapsPeople’s dynamic mapping platform, MapsIndoors, into Vpod’s visitor management system, Vgreet, visitors in venues with the Vgreet kiosks are able to get accurate and precise wayfinding to their destination.
Vgreet and MapsIndoors is already present at several corporate offices around the world, including Vodafone, CBRE London, and Royal Bank of Scotland, and Vpod is now aiming to expand its solution into other verticals such as education and healthcare.
“At Vpod, we are committed to helping organizations with the implementation of solutions that enhance the employee and visitor experience as they return to their workplaces. We are heavily focused on developing relationships and product integrations with like-minded partners who share our core values. Therefore, we are excited to work with Christian and the brilliant team at MapsPeople, as we continue to drive our rapid growth in all regions across key market verticals,” says Paul Twitchell, Sales Director & Global Alliances at Vpod Solutions.
The vertical expansion opens up a lot of potential for the strategic alliance between Vpod and MapsPeople, and MapsPeople is happy about the opportunity to upscale and expand its joint efforts with Vpod and fully supports the decision to seek out new markets.
“We see a significant increase in value for the customer through the integration of MapsIndoors to Vpod's new employee management solutions Service Desk and Smart Lockers which enables the availability of interactive maps throughout the entire workplace,” says Christian Frederiksen, Head of Strategic Partners at MapsPeople.
