Thamba Tharmalingam is a seasoned technology executive with a global track record in scaling SaaS and tech companies. He has led growth, transformation, and M&A across semiconductors, telecommunications, and hospitality technology in North America, Europe, and Asia. His previous roles include leadership positions at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), Rogers Communications, EGLX, PAR Technology, and Apex Group Technologies.
Before joining MapsPeople as CEO, Thamba was an Operating Partner at Round13 Capital and a board member at MapsPeople. He is now driving the Danish-based mapping company’s global expansion and innovation in spatial intelligence, with a focus on scaling across the US, Europe, MENA, and APAC.
Thamba holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University. He has also completed a TMT Executive Education at Harvard Business School.

Furthermore, Christian has founded and grew his own software startup, which was acquired in 2014. Brahm Klar is Managing Partner at Round13 Capital, where he oversees investments across diverse sectors and provides strategic guidance to portfolio companies, supporting their growth and development. Brahm actively serves on the boards of multiple portfolio companies in areas including vertical market software, tech-enabled services, and consumer retail. Prior to his role at Round13, Brahm worked in private equity at ONCAP, the mid-market private equity platform of Onex Corporation. Earlier in his career, he was involved in mergers and acquisitions investment banking at RBC Capital Markets, advising on transactions across various industries.
