MapsPeople Welcomes Jannik Brouwers as Chief Sales Officer (CSO)

MapsPeople today announced Jannik Brouwers has officially signed on as the new Chief Sales Officer, responsible for Sales and Marketing and member of the Executive management team.

In his role, Jannik strengthens the management team in both Sales and Marketing as a key component of MapsPeople's progressive growth strategy. The appointment of Jannik, also means that Jonas Berntsen, Co-owner and former CCO, gets promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) and takes on a new role of building up the company's US presence with a new office in Austin, Texas.

“We are delighted that Jannik Brouwers has accepted the role as the new CSO of MapsPeople,” says CEO Michael Gram. “Jannik Brouwers is a highly experienced CSO with a proven track record in leading Sales and Marketing teams to execute very ambitious growth plans, and we are comfortable that his abilities will further strengthen the leadership team of MapsPeople.”

Prior to MapsPeople, Jannik was in another fast-growing industry, as Director of Global Sales Ops. at Universal Robots. Before that he served as Sr. Director, Global Sales Ops. & Global Service at Cobham plc (formerly Thrane & Thrane) which has given him extensive experience building up global sales teams.
