You may choose to fill out a contact form at the website or provide us directly with some of your personal information by any other means.In the process of doing so, you may submit personal data to us, for example, your name, company name, e-mail address. This information is used by MapsPeople to process and answer your requests and to send you direct marketing assets (newsletters, ebooks, webinar invitations) in addition to e.g. speaking with our sales representatives and discussing your needs as a professional. The collection and processing of your personal information is justified by our legitimate interest to provide you with any necessary information to e.g. enter into a business relationship (art 6(1)(f) GDPR or otherwise relies on your prior consent (art 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may also decide to share personal information when applying for a job opening via our "career page", and we may therefore process information such as your name, contact information, geographic location, resume and/or LinkedIn profile in order to assess your suitability for the role (or any other positions as it may fit). In this context we would rely on the necessary information prior to the conclusion of a contract (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
The information shared by you and stored by us will always be processed in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and any other applicable privacy laws and regulations. MapsPeople may use third-party service providers to conduct its business (e.g. CRM tools) and always ensures lawful transfers of any personal information (e.g. by having proper data processing agreements in place, standard contractual clauses if necessary and ensuring adequate safeguards or at least the same level of security and privacy should your information be transferred outside of the EEA).
